Yes, Kathy, you did raise a very smart boy! 😉 I would really like to learn to knit wool socks. An aquaintance of mine used to make them and I bought several pairs from her one year for myself and for Christmas presents. I have long since worn them out and she got married and dropped off the face of the earth. But, what I’m afraid of, having a similar experience with crochet, is that my sock will look just like DeAnna’s…..um……perfect thing. 😉 Reply deandail on February 10, 2007 at 10:03 pm I really want to make socks also, but knitters keep telling me that it’s an advanced sort of a project and I should stick with scarves for a while.
