And I bet the mountains in the distance are much more clear in person. Too bad it’s so darn cold all the time 🙂 Sarah, I know I’ve said it already, but I’m so happy that you are knitting! And your potholders look perfect, like they are the same size and shape and everything. You should send me a close-up of the stitches. Can you still tell which two stitches Malachi did? I spent a bunch of time re-arranging my room this weekend. My picture is of my new little spinnery corner. That’s mostly hand-spun yarn (with some specialty commercial stuff mixed in) and then some of my hand-carded batts in the basket on top. You can’t see them, but my extra spinning wheel bobbins are on the next shelf down, and then the bottom shelf is a plastic bin full of my regular old yarn that I didn’t need to have out on display. You can see all 4 horses out on their winter pasture – Jericho and Bruneau are closest on the left, Gator is farther away on the right and Indigo is the dark spot farthest away, more in the middle. My house is the group of buildings on the right behind the horses. I love your spinnery corner! I had no idea that Sarah was making potholders but they look awesome!! So, so cool! Reply Sarah on February 14, 2008 at 5:57 am Oh my goodness DeAnna I’m jealous of all your knitting stuff! I’m happy with the pot holders, especially considering they were my first project. They are a bit lopsided though because apparently I bind off WAY tighter than I cast on. I haven’t looked, but I bet I can’t tell where Malachi’s stitches are now. I’m all ready to go on the scarf project, just haven’t actually started it yet. Reply Submit a Comment Cancel reply Your email address will not be published.
